Zeta to Exhibit at Railway Lighting Event “Light after Dark”

Zeta Specialist Lighting is pleased to announce it will be exhibiting at “Light after Dark” on Wednesday, 9 March 2016 from 3pm to 8pm.

The event takes place at Quinton Rail Technology Centre, Long Marston and has been carefully timed to coincide with the lunar calendar to ensure optimum darkness for companies such as Zeta demonstrating exterior lighting products.

Aimed specifically at the railway lighting sector and in association with the Rail Alliance, the LIA and The Society Light and Lighting, the event will consist of an indoor exhibition as well as an outdoor demonstration area.

nano3Visitors to the Zeta stand will be able to see various energy and cost saving solutions including the new SmartScape Nano; a versatile LED solution suitable for a variety of applications in street and area illumination including; carparks, roads, station platforms and many more.

Bidvest-Lee-Mill-32Alongside the Nano, Zeta will also be showcasing its LED Flood Lights – a low power LED lighting alternative to energy intensive flood lighting. These highly robust, efficient flood lights are ideal for forecourt, workshop and carpark illumination and will be showcased within the outdoor demonstration area.


Also in the outdoor demo area, situated inside one of the train carriages, will be Zeta LED Blades. Using the latest Chip on Board (COB) technology and toughened glass the blade arrays offer an ultra-efficient, long-life LED solution for train illumination.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to find out more about the company’s solar powered solutions which when combined with Zeta LED technology, offer optimal lighting all year round.

Philip-Shadbolthelen-watersZeta’s CEO and Chairman Philip Shadbolt OBE will also be presenting at the seminar alongside Arriva Trains Business Development Director Helen Waters.

Helen will talk about the areas of rail business and operations which should benefit from a new approach to lighting and the challenges of collaborating, funding and developing practical and innovative solutions within the rail market.

Philip will talk about client collaboration, the innovation process and how to bring about the best lighting solutions for clients. Drawing on 27 years of experience, Philip will also explain testing and regulatory requirements and share example case studies.
